Tall Ship Island Adventure Sea Camp

Give your camper a summer to remember with Los Angeles Maritime Institute’s Tall Ship Island Adventure Sea Camp!

They’ll see the beautiful California coast in a way most people never experience - aboard a tall ship - through Explorer Day Camp in Long Beach (ages 7-10) and 5 or 12-day Sleepaway Camp out of San Pedro (ages 10-17). Each one is filled with exciting new opportunities, and no sailing experience is necessary. We provide all that and more as we guide them in setting and adjusting sails, keeping the ship on course, taking part in a variety of recreational activities, and – for sleepaway camp or day camp’s optional overnight – sleeping aboard a tall ship!
